Ubuntu 9.10 codenamed Karmic Koala

Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala

Mark Shuttleworth, Ubuntu’s founder announced the new inspirational name of Ubuntu 9.10. It is codenamed Karmic Koala. Release date, October 2009.
Whilst waiting for the Koala, preparations are steaming up to respect Ubuntu six-months release cycle. The next release after Ubuntu 8.10, Ubuntu 9.04 codenamed Jaunty Jackalope will be released in 2 months time, that is in April. Right now it is still an alpha for testers and developers – Junty-alpha-4
