Thunderbird 3.2 Add-on Manager

You’ve surely heard that Mozilla is working on a new Add-on Manager for Thunderbird email client and Firefox web browser. You can get a preview of this add-on manager in a recently posted Thunderbird 3.2 Alpha 1 Pre, an early development release of Thunderbird, a Shredder. Thunderbird 3.2 Alpha 1 is available to download from Mozilla’s FTP web site.

In the screenshot above, the new interface displays Languages, Search Engines, Extensions, Themes, and Plugins, aligned vertically in a left side bar unlike what you have now, and the information on plug-ins, extensions etc available on the right side of the add-on manager.

Thunderbird 3.2 pre-release for rough-riders is available for all platforms; Mac, Linux and Windows.
