Google Chrome Stable Channel Update

Google Chrome stable channel has been updated to version 5.0.375.7 on Linux, Mac, and Windows. Many major security issues have been addressed in this release, such as;

  • Cross-origin keystroke redirection.
  • Cross-origin bypass in DOM methods.
  • Memory error in table layout.
  • Linux sandbox escape.
  • Bitmap stale pointer.
  • Memory corruption in DOM node normalization.
  • Memory corruption in text transforms.
  • XSS in innerHTML property of textarea.
  • Memory corruption in font handling.
  • Geolocation events fire after document deletion.
  • Memory corruption in rendering of list markers.
