How do I stop thunderbird3 installed on Ubuntu 8.04 from downloading all of my imap mail to my local hard drive.

@SCOUSER73: Thunderbird 3 beta 4 is the last beta release before Thunderbird 3 Final, its a major and well-done upgrade. They’ve put much into it, many new features and improvements. I love it.

I’ve been using a nightly build of Thunderbird 3 beta 4 for over a week now and it’s an excellent product from Mozilla. I’ve not encountered any bugs as yet and I would recommend it to people.
