Microsoft releases Skype for Linux 4.2

For Ubuntu, Fedora, OpenSuse, CentOS: Microsoft’s Skype division has released a “major” update of Skype for Linux, its proprietary voice, video and text messaging client. The newly released Skype for Linux 4.2 comes with tons of improvements, many bug fixes – and several little tweaks called features. Linux Mint 15 is right around the corner. Today the Linux Mint team announced the release of Linux Mint 15 “Olivia” RC. Linux Mint 15 is considered by its creators as “the most ambitious release since the start of the Mint project”. “MATE 1.6 is greatly improved and Cinnamon 1.8 offers a ton of new features, including a screensaver and a unified control center”.
