KOffice 2.2 Released

The KOffice team has announced the release of KOffice 2.2, the free and open source office suite. KOffice 2.2 comes half a year after the release of KOffice 2.1 and brings many new features and bug fixes.

Desktop Notifications in Chrome via Extensions

Desktop notifications are now available to extensions in Chrome 5, which means developers can start using the notifications API in their extensions to deliver non-modal messages from web sites.
