Firefox 3.5.3 is just around the corner

The latest Mozilla Firefox is near at hand. Firefox 3.5.3 by Mozilla is already present in some official mirror servers from where you can pick it up. Update notices are not yet around but are imminent.

Before downloading have a look at the bug list. There are several critical bugs that still have to be fixed. Only the US version of Firefox 3.5.3 is available in the servers for Windows, Linux and Mac.

Remember, as from Firefox 3.5.3 the browser will direct users with outdated Flash Player to Adobe download with a the message; “You should update Adobe Flash right now. Firefox is up to date, but your current version of Flash can cause security and stability issues. Please install the free update as soon as possible.”

On my Ubuntu 9.04 Firefox 3.5.3 got installed without any issues
