Oracle VM VirtualBox 3.2.0 beta 2

Oracle has released a second beta of upcoming VirtualBox 3.2.0, the open source desktop virtualisation application for x86 hardware.
Oracle VM VirtualBox 3.2.0 considered a major update includes several new features, fixed items and addresses a number of regressions in beta 1.

Oracle VM VirtualBox 3.2.0 beta 2 adds Java bindings, it restores Ubuntu Lucid VM with 3D effects, in Linux the shared folders kernel module is now loaded on demand, enabling a USB keyboard no longer disables the PS/2 keyboard, new Guest Additions icons, and several GUI improvements.

Oracle VM VirtualBox 3.2.0 beta 2 is available to download for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux. Complete release notes are found here. You’re advised not to use VirtualBox Beta on a production machine, you might encounter break-downs.

Oracle’s VirtualBox can be installed on Lucid Lynx via its new repository. This repository installs the latest stable version of VirtualBox and not bleeding-edge alpha/beta releases like VirtualBox 3.2.0 beta 2.

Copy and paste line after line on your command-line :
sudo add-apt-repository "deb http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian lucid non-free"
wget -q http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian/sun_vbox.asc -O- | sudo apt-key add -
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install virtualbox-3.1

VirtualBox source is released under version 2 of the GNU General Public License (GPLv2) while VirtualBox binaries are released under the VirtualBox Personal Use and Evaluation License (PUEL) license.
