Opera 10: 10 million Downloads in its first Week

It seems the guys at Opera heard my cry when I asked for download statics that weren’t available at the time I  wrote this article; Opera 10 Final: Ubuntu 9.04 Overview Video.

It’s a new record for Opera as it’s latest browser, Opera 10 plus Turbo, gets an outstanding 10 million downloads during the first week of release and millions of users around the world.

Opera 10 works, I’ve tried on Ubuntu 9.04 and Windows XP, you’ll “feel” the speed on both operating systems. The new User Interface maintains its elegant and slimline looks in Ubuntu.

Opera 10 is available in 43 languages for Windows, Mac and Linux computers.
