Unofficial Opera 10.50 Beta for Unix

It reads Alpha but its a Beta, Opera 10.50 beta for Unix is around, but has not yet been announced, and it’s still blazing fast, just like the alpha – Opera says this version (Opera 10.50) is up to 8 times faster than the previous version, i don’t doubt it.

The Mac version is now an official beta with Growl desktop notifications amongst several other features. Opera 10.50 for Mac is able to send to all notifications like new email, IRC activity, completed file transfers, widgets, and more through Growl. It would be great to have Opera 10.50 desktop notifications in Linux via the D-BUS ovvero Notify-OSD.
