Pidgin 2.5.7 for Ubuntu came with many fixes to resolve Yahoo Login amongst other issues, newly released version 2.6 of the GTK+ frontend to libpurple adds more fixes and improvements to Yahoo like P2P file transfers but above all it finally brings audio/video to Pidgin making it almost par with IM clients like Yahoo.
Google Chrome Dev Channel version 4.0.201.1 now has a new feature: bookmark syncing. Add the flag: --enable-sync whilst starting Chrome, then move to Wrench -> Sync my bookmarks.
