Wally is an easy-to-use and straight-forward open-source application that automates desktop background rotation using multiple sources; folders, FTP remote folders, Flickr, Yahoo!, Photobucket, Picasa and others.
Its boring to have just one desktop wallpaper sitting there, but its also boring to switch them manually. Wally does that for you. Try out the “Next Photo” feature and see how it switches your desktop background, just like a photo manager. Mozilla Firefox has several note taking extension that permit you to stick your notes around the “Fox”. QuickFox Notes plug-in simply sticks them on your bookmarks so you can later sync your bookmarks together with your notes if you have Xmarks or Mozilla Weave Firefox extensions. More»

CheckPlaces is a Firefox 3 extension that cleans-up your Firefox bookmarks by checking and deleting duplicate bookmarks, empty folders and dead or failed(invalid) pages. It’s very useful for those that have hundred of bookmarks and certainly find it hard to check the ever growing number of bookmarks. More»

Just a little tip you can put into use when searching sites that you’ve previously visited in the Chrome address bar also known as the Omnibox.
It seems to work only on websites like Google.com, Facebook, Youtube, that we all frequently visit. Each time you start typing the name of any website you often visit, say google.com in Omnibox, after the first letters the Chrome address bar suggests the name of the site with auto-complete. In the case of some websites like those mentioned above omnibox also offers the option to search the site. More»
