In the browser war, the trio Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer try to sort out which one amongst them is “the good”, which one is “the bad” or which one is “the ugly”. For Open Source lovers and web designers, it is rather easy to say which one is “the bad” one. In some cases all three could be good or not just good enough. … Sounds crazy. With Windows 7 it would be possible to turn-off Internet Explorer 8, but not uninstall it — not yet.
So after 12 long years, with the help of the EU (European Union) Windows partially-divorces with one of its most controversial applications, Internet Explorer -IE. This naturally makes way for a more “open” or a less treacherous browser competition.
Opera, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox now have less chances of ending up like Netscape Navigator.
